Magic City centers on hotel visionary Ike Evans and his silent partner, notorious mobster Ben “The Butcher” Diamond, who run the fictional Miramar Playa hotel during a politically tense period of social—and architectural—change that forever reshaped the Miami landscape.

 

Designed by Production designer Carlos Barbosa and set decorator Scott Jacobson, members of hiddenlemons worked as set designers for the 23 period sets, built in a mere 18 weeks on location in Miami Beach.
